This is what I did from shell on Redhat Fedora, before compiling PHP. Note that yum has to be installed on your machine.
Access: Public      Tags: compile, shell, libtidy, php5
Add to favourites       Subscribe comments       Copy code       Bookmark
[SHELL]
yum install tidy
yum install tidy-devel
yum install libtidy

./configure --with-tidy
[/SHELL]
